Ladycroft Barn

Reviews

Ladycroft Barn is ideally situated for walking in the High Peak area. The owner, Wendy Ackers, gave us an extremely warm welcome. The cottage is well equipped and extremely cosy - perfect for relaxing in after a day outdoors. Close by to local amentities and easy to reach from major routes, yet still away from it all.

A wonderful location with stunning views, and a beautifully converted barn with all the comforts of home! Our dog loved it in the enclosed garden and on the lovely walks that are so near by. Many thanks to the owner who is a charming lady, she could not have made us more welcome. We hope to return soon!

We thoroughly enjoyed our Hoseasons holiday. The accommodation was first class and the location exactly as described in the brochure. The owner was both helpful and friendly. I would always be happy to recommend a Hoseasons holiday.

The cottage was in a perfect location not only for the wonderful views from the cottage itself, but it was so close to all the many main attractions, and also right next to a footpath leading to one of the best walks with beautiful, panoramic views I have ever been on. The owner was extremely pleasant and very helpful.

Ladycroft Barn is the perfect romantic hideaway. There is no need to go anywhere as there are fantastic views from every room, you could just curl up in front of the fire with a book. If you did wish to venture out there are some excellent pubs nearby that serve food. The surrounding countryside has many beautiful walks including Stanage Edge, made famous by Keira Knightly in the film Pride and Prejudice. The views from the edge are stunning and worth the climb.

This is the perfect place to forget the 21st century, if only for a short while. A truly wonderful location.

I cannot praise this accommodation enough! The number of 'WOWS' from my friend's little 7 year old girl says it all-likewise from my friend and myself. The panoramic views from the property both at day and night were breathtaking. We hope to visit again. The place was such that the weather-although good enough-didn't matter.
